Speak Up When English Matters Most

Practical ways to keep speaking when English feels harder under pressure

You use English at work. Most of the time, you manage perfectly well.

An important meeting, presentation or unexpected question can feel different. You know what you want to say, yet sometimes the words are harder to find when you need them.

In this free live webinar, we’ll look at why that can happen and try some practical ways to help when you hesitate, lose your train of thought or need a little more time to answer.

Does this sound familiar?

If you need to use English at work and some situations feel much harder than others, this webinar is for you.

Perhaps you:

  • find unexpected questions much harder in English

Sometimes you may simply need more English. At other times, you already know the English, but pressure makes it harder to access in the moment.

What to expect

This webinar is for international professionals who need to use English at work and can comfortably follow a live webinar in English. It isn’t designed for beginners.

We’ll be together live on Microsoft Teams for approximately 60 minutes, including time for questions.

You’re welcome to use the chat if you’d like to, but participation is optional. You can simply listen and watch. I won’t suddenly call your name and ask you to speak.

Towards the end of the webinar, I’ll briefly tell you about my six-week Speak Up When English Matters Most programme if you’d like to continue this work. There’s no obligation to join.

Hello, I’m Tanya

I’m Tanya Kaczanow, founder of Find Your English Voice, and I’ve worked with international professionals since 2011.

Before becoming a coach, I spent ten years as a professional singer. That experience taught me a lot about what can happen when you know what you want to do, but pressure makes it harder to do it in the moment.

My background includes Cambridge CELTA, specialist Business English training and Formal Counselling Training. I’m also the author of Find Your English Voice and English ESL Small Talk.

What clients say

“Tanya is a highly competent coach who understands the psychology of learning, including the fear of speaking or presenting in English. She is able to coach people from different backgrounds with different goals.”
