Speak Up When English Matters Most

Confidence, Clarity and Calm under pressure

A 6-week live coaching programme for professionals who want to stay calm, think clearly, and speak English with confidence when it matters most.

Small groups  •  Maximum 4 participants  •  Live coaching on Microsoft Teams

You already speak English. So why does it get harder when it matters most?

You use English every day. In emails, in meetings, in conversations with colleagues and clients. And most of the time, it is fine, but when the stakes rise.

Your manager asks you a question in front of the team. You are put on the spot in a presentation. A senior stakeholder wants your opinion, right now, with no time to think. Something shifts.

You hesitate. You lose your thread. You speak faster than you mean to, or go quieter than you want to. You say less than you know. Afterwards, you replay the moment and think: that is not how I wanted to come across.

Just to be clear, this is completely normal.

Speaking in front of others makes most people nervous, even in their first language. When you add a second or third language, the pressure can feel even higher. There is more to manage: the words, the grammar, the accent, the impression you are making, all at once, in real time, in front of people who matter.

You have worked hard for this language. You deserve to feel proud of it, not burdened by it.

This is not a vocabulary problem. It is not a grammar problem. It is not even really a language problem.

When pressure rises, access drops. Not intelligence. Not knowledge. Not value. Access.

The English is there. Under pressure, your brain cannot reach it.

That is a nervous system response, and it can be retrained.

This programme combines language coaching, performance psychology, and practical speaking frameworks used in real workplace situations.

This programme is for you if...

This programme is for professionals who use English at work and want to speak with more confidence, clarity, and calm when the stakes are real.

You might recognise yourself here:

  • You hesitate in meetings, even when you know exactly what you want to say

  • You lose your thread when put on the spot or asked an unexpected question

  • You go quiet around senior people or in larger groups

  • You speak too fast when you are nervous, or over-explain to fill the silence

  • You feel confident in English until the pressure is on

You replay conversations afterwards and think: that is not who I am

Whether you freeze completely, hesitate, rush, or simply feel less like yourself, this programme is designed for you.

This programme is not for beginners.

You already know enough English to use it at work. This course is about performance, helping you access what you already know when it matters most.

For team leaders, HR managers, and L&D professionals

Many international professionals are highly capable in English, but when the pressure rises in meetings, presentations, or high-stakes conversations, they hesitate or say less than they know.

This programme helps organisations ensure that talented people can contribute fully in English, especially in the moments where ideas, decisions, and leadership matter most.

If you are exploring this programme for a member of your team or for a group within your organisation, Tanya is happy to discuss a tailored arrangement. Use the waiting list form below or contact her directly.

This is not a language course. It is a performance lab.

Most English courses focus on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. This programme focuses on something different: what happens to your communication under pressure, and how to change it.

Over six weeks, you will build three things:

CALM — Week 2

Regulate your nervous system so you can get back to your words faster.

CLARITY — Week 3

Structure your message clearly, even when you have not had time to prepare.

CONFIDENCE — Weeks 4 to 6

Practise in progressively higher-pressure situations until speaking up becomes natural.

What we cover

Six sessions. Fifty minutes each. Maximum four participants. Delivered live on Microsoft Teams.

  • Identify exactly when and why speaking English under pressure is harder than it should be. This is your starting point.

  • Learn practical tools to calm your nervous system in seconds, before and during any high-pressure moment.

  • Use a simple structure to organise your thoughts and speak clearly, even when you have not had time to prepare.

  • Practise the lower-stakes conversations that build the habit of speaking up, openers, follow-ups, and confident exits.

  • Apply everything in live simulations: unexpected questions, a meeting moment, and a short recorded presentation.

  • Reflect on how far you have come and build your personal Go-To Plan for every high-pressure English moment ahead.

After six weeks, you will:

  • Understand exactly when and why speaking English under pressure is harder for you specifically

  • Have two regulation tools you can use in under ten seconds, before or during any high-stakes moment

  • Be able to structure a clear response without needing a perfect sentence first

  • Recover quickly and naturally when you lose your words, without apologising or going silent

  • Have practised speaking under real pressure, in a small safe group, enough times that it no longer feels impossible

  • Leave with your own personal Go-To Plan for every difficult English moment ahead

Pause less. Recover faster. Trust your English again when it matters, and most importantly, stay in the conversation.

Who you will be working with

I am Tanya Kaczanow, founder of Find Your English Voice, a language and performance coach with over a decade of experience working with professionals who use English at work.

My background is in performance. Before coaching, I was a professional singer, which means I understand from the inside what it feels like when nerves disrupt your ability to do what you know you can do. I hold a Cambridge CELTA, an Oxford TEFL Business English certificate, and have formal counselling training.

What I do is not traditional language teaching. I work at the intersection of performance psychology, nervous system regulation, and professional communication. I help capable people access the English they already have, when the pressure is on, when it actually matters.

I am the author of Find Your English Voice and English ESL Small Talk, and I’ve been working with professionals worldwide, since 2011.
