Coaching
One-to-one coaching for professionals who need to perform in English under pressure
Personalised. Focused. Built around the moments that matter most to you.
This coaching is for you if...
You need to use English at work, whether that’s in meetings, emails, presentations or conversations with colleagues and clients. Most of the time, you manage well. But there are moments when it becomes much harder.
Your manager asks you an unexpected question in front of the team. You are presenting to senior stakeholders. You are in a difficult conversation and need to think clearly and speak well at the same time. Something shifts. You hesitate. You lose your thread. You say less than you know.
You replay the moment afterwards and think: that is not how I wanted to come across.
If that sounds familiar, this coaching could be right for you. Sometimes you may need more English. At other times, you already know the English, but pressure makes it harder to access in the moment. We’ll look at what is happening for you specifically and work on the areas that will make the biggest difference.
This coaching is for international professionals who need to use English at work, in conversations, meetings and other professional situations.
Two ways to work together
Both programmes follow the same Calm, Clarity, Confidence framework and are delivered one-to-one via Microsoft Teams. The three-session intensive focuses on a particular situation or immediate need, while the six-session programme gives us more time to work on your individual communication needs.
Speak Up With Confidence: Three-Session Coaching Intensive
Price: £225
This focused three-session coaching intensive is for international professionals who need to use English at work and have a particular situation they’d like to work on.
We can focus on a presentation, job interview, difficult conversation or another work situation where you would like to communicate more effectively.
Over the three sessions, we’ll look at what is happening for you, identify what would make the biggest difference and work on practical ways to help you communicate more effectively in that situation.
All sessions are 50 minutes and take place on Microsoft Teams. Between sessions, you can submit short audio or video recordings for individual feedback. This is completely optional.
Speak Up When It Matters: Six-Session Coaching Programme
Price: £425
This six-session individual coaching programme is for international professionals who need to use English at work and want more time to work on their particular communication needs.
Your sessions are built around you and the situations you face at work. We’ll decide together what would be most useful to focus on, based on your English, your work and what you would like to be able to do more effectively.
What we could work on
If speaking under pressure is one of the main challenges, we can draw on the approaches I use in Speak Up When English Matters Most and adapt them to your particular situations.
We could also focus on meetings, presentations, interviews, spontaneous conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency or communicating more naturally and clearly. We’ll decide together where to spend our time so that the sessions reflect what you actually need English for.
Between sessions, you can submit short audio or video recordings for individual feedback. This is completely optional, but it can be a useful way to practise between sessions and notice what you want to work on next.
All six sessions are 50 minutes and take place on Microsoft Teams. You’ll also receive my Small Talk Business English PDF toolkit.
Payment is taken in full before we begin. A two-instalment option is available. Please contact me before purchasing if you would like to arrange this.
Euro invoices are available on request.

How the coaching works
Every coaching relationship begins with a free 20-minute discovery call. This is not a sales call. It is a conversation to understand what is getting in the way for you specifically, and to confirm that working together would be the right next step. There is no obligation and no pressure.
Once we begin, each session is built around the real situations you face at work. That might include preparing for a meeting or presentation, looking at a conversation you found difficult, or working on situations where you would like to communicate more effectively.
Between sessions you have the option to submit short audio or video recordings for feedback. Many clients find this one of the most useful parts of the process.
All sessions are delivered via Microsoft Teams and are 50 minutes long. Recordings of sessions are available on request.

Hi, I’m Tanya.
I’m Tanya Kaczanow, founder of Find Your English Voice. I’m a British native speaker and have been working with international professionals since 2011, first as an English teacher and increasingly as a coach. Over the years, I’ve seen how differently people can communicate when they feel under pressure. Sometimes they need more English. Sometimes they know exactly what they want to say, but accessing it in the moment is the difficult part.
My background is unusual for a language professional. Before moving into English teaching and coaching, I spent ten years as a professional singer. I know from experience what it feels like when nerves get in the way of something you know you can do, and how different it feels when you learn to manage them.
I hold a Cambridge CELTA and specialist Business English training, which underpin my work as an English language professional. I also have formal counselling training, which has helped shape the way I listen, ask questions and support people when confidence or nerves affect their communication.
I’m based in Devon, England, and work with clients worldwide via Microsoft Teams. I’m also the author of Find Your English Voice and English ESL Small Talk.
